Another Bensley masterpiece has opened in lesser-known Sa Pa, Vietnam. Once a destination for the very adventurous, Sa Pa is famous for its unfathomably verdant Muong Hoa Valley, featuring a photographer’s dream of teetering rice terraces. This is juxtaposed by the hotel’s location right next to the colonial Sa Pa Cathedral. This injection of luxury by burgeoning hotel brand MGallery by Sofitel into the region realises a very fashionable upscale property, revealing the colourful influences that the hill tribes of Cochinchina – formerly a part of the French Empire – had on Haute Couture in Paris at the turn of the 20th century.
