We catch up with Shany Katzev. Shany is Israeli born and raised and has been a professional licensed tour guide for the last 8 years, working with groups of 60 or just one. She specialises in custom and constructed touring. She is a proud and outspoken member of the local LGBTQ+ community. Shany talks about the future of touring in Israel and how it will become much more personalised in the future. She also tells us of the changing demographic she has seen in LGBTQ+ visitors to Israel and with it, the sort of experiences that they are looking for, beyond the basics of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
