In the ultimate feat of travel, Buzz Aldrin stepped on the lunar surface in 1969, wearing an OMEGA Speedmaster Professional, carving a unique place for the watch in the history of space exploration and giving the timepiece the moniker of “the Moonwatch” ever since.
As part of the Speedmaster’s 60th Anniversary, the clever clogs at OMEGA have produced a short documentary film called “Starmen,” featuring two of my personal heroes, man of distinction George Clooney and his boyhood idol, Buzz Aldrin himself. Watch them meet and talk about going beyond.
