There is an oasis of calm in bustling, upscale tourist alcave Nusa Dua – an ultimately minimalist and modernist private resort – with long, sweeping steps, pavilions and waterfalls. Us waterbabies were certainly spoilt for choice between stepping out of our bathroom into our own infinity pool, hob-nobbing with other travellers at the hotel’s poolside, or heading to a private section of the otherwise public beach.
