We fulfilled our Downton Abbey dreams here at this dignified country estate, ancestral home of the Baron of Newcastle. The service was near perfect, balancing British tradition with modern luxury. We dined in the old library and walked a part of the 300 acres of gorgeous parkland, stopping to hob-nob with a set of husbands-to-be – the property is known for weddings.
