On arrival at this iconic Waldorf Astoria Resort, the Rome Cavalieri Hotel, we were introduced to our Jet Lag Butler, who came as part of the luxury hotel brand’s True Waldorf Service programme, which is designed to help Waldorf fans ‘Live Unforgettable’. Our consultation involved selecting the right pillows from its extensive collection and adjusting the temperature of our suite for optimal sleep, a healthy-eating in-room dining menu and relaxing to a carefully tailored, aromatherapy spa-treatment programme while our bags were unpacked and our sight-seeing itinerary was arranged. Not only were we refreshed and ready to explore this romantic city, but we also arrived home relaxed, with our heads in the clouds – exactly what we needed from our Roman holiday.
