Up in the hills, on a quiet street in the Castle District, this is the closest property to Fisherman’s Bastion. It’s right next door, in fact. It offers modern luxury in a building that is centuries old and is all we expect from a Hilton. It was perfect for us, as we wanted to enjoy the authentic charm of old-world Buda and hospitality that is among the best you’d get in the city.

While you’re Out There
Look up Frigyes Schulek, the architect of the imposing Fisherman’s Bastion literally next door and many of Budapest’s edifices. While the hotel is the antithesis to its surrounding architecture, it is a solid, international choice just next to the Halászbástya – so you can experience it at dawn before the tourists arrive and still collect your Hilton Honors points.
