It was impossible not to hear a quintessentially La-la-land conversation when soaking up the California sun on the rooftop pool deck of The London – albeit this time, with a thick English accent. Our London Vista Suite was sumptuous, with a stunning balcony, not to mention a humungous bathroom to prepare for our nights out. If by chance we were homesick, calls back to London were free and we could have always checked into the Penthouse, a sprawling 11,000 square foot suite fit for a queen. Apt, as it was inspired by the Queen of style herself, Vivienne Westwood. What’s more, booking would have allowed us an hour of private shopping at the city’s Vivienne Westwood store.
