If you’re looking for a bit of a taste of old-world Jaffa, then Atlas Hotel’s Market House has it all, set in a restored Ottoman Empire building in the very epicentre of the neighbourhood’s chaotic markets, restaurants and bars. The hotel’s designers have really made the most of the building, ensuring a collision of old and new – glass flooring in the hotel lobby reveals the remains of a Byzantine chapel underfoot.
