Coming back from Further East (the luxury and experiential travel show in Bali), we’ve got so much exciting news to tell you. One of the highlights of the show was getting meet with the Asian Rosewoods – the properties in Luang Prabang, Bangkok and Phuket and Hong Kong. But even the representatives there had just got wind, ‘hot off the press’ of a brand new experience programme that will be running across the brand’s exclusive worldwide properties.
‘Rosewood Limited Edition’ is a range of fabulous local experiences, staged across the brand’s portfolio, from Paris to Phuket and beyond, with the bucket list-worthy adventures on offer being no less varied than their respective locations.
In New York, guests of The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel are invited to record and edit a track with Steinway Label Executive Producer Jon Feidner before enjoying a private performance by award-winning pianist Haochen Zhang (because what could be more encouraging to further fine-tune your piano skills?), while the Rosewood Miramar Beach will roll out the red carpet at the star-studded Santa Barbara International Film Festival, giving guests all-access entrance to the 2020 Maltin Modern Master Award Ceremony and Virtuoso Awards – with glam being provided, don’t you worry.
Our personal favourite, however, quite literally goes a little deeper. Coming to the shores of the sprawling Rosewood Baha Mar is the treasure hunt of James Cameron’s dreams: look forward to chartering the resort’s magnificent Eternity mega-yacht and exploring the most notable dive sites of the Bahamian seas in search of the new Ulysse Nardin Diver 42mm watch – sure, it’s not quite Rose’s heart-shaped diamond necklace, but we’re not out for a Titanic style ending, anyway.
There’s no need to be nervous about pirates in the Caribbean either, as to make guest’s dives as comfortable and memorable as possible, underwater explorers will be accompanied by a professional diver as well as a personal photographer. And before you ask; we think the latter only makes sense: you’ll need a way to prove what’s essentially an unbelievable experience.
